Local people are being asked to have a say and back the proposal for the Brighton & Hove and Lewes Downs to become recognised as a world-class environment, by achieving international Biosphere Reserve status from the United Nations.
You can play a part and show your support during the 12-week public consultation period on the Biosphere Partnership’s draft management strategy, from 28th January to 22nd April 2013, by completing an online questionnaire.
We invite you to give your inputs by going to the Biosphere Project website for details and to have a say: www.biospherehere.org.uk
You can also come along to one of the events on the touring roadshow, which includes a stunning photographic exhibition of what makes our area so special.
Very exciting workshop coming up at the garden to work with two very experienced tutors on carpentry and/or willow sculpture. This will be a lovely relaxed day at the garden, with lunch provided. If you’ve ever fancied giving willow sculpture a go, or would like to improve your DIY skills and learn to make garden furniture yourself, this is a fantastic opportunity, book now to avoid disappointment!
